In memory of my oldest and best friend, Kate. You were in my life from as far back as I can remember- we grew up together and our friendship remained strong into adulthood. You have left the most almighty hole , not just in my life but in the lives of everyone that you touched and who loved you, not least Ian, Alex, Charlotte and the rest of your family.
